Challenging level design
Boards built to be picked apart, not rushed — each one starts gentle and ends up genuinely hard, with stars to chase.
Play anywhere, offline
No account, no sign-in, no internet needed. Your progress lives on your phone and nowhere else.
Ads only if you want them
No banners, no interstitials, nothing between levels. The only ads are ones you tap to watch for a hint.
Made to look calm
A warm paper board, soft ink lines and a gentle soundtrack — a puzzle you can play late at night.
Every board is solvable
Levels are generated backwards from a solved state, so there is always a way through. No dead ends, ever.
Tiny download
A few megabytes. The whole game draws itself as it runs, so nothing is wasted on artwork you have to wait for.
About
Every wire on the board wants to leave, and only one thing stops it: something standing in the lane ahead of its arrowhead. Tap a wire with a clear run and it threads itself out, coil and all. Tap a blocked one and nothing happens — so find the one piece that frees the rest.
It sounds simple, and the first boards are. Then the lattice fills up, the wires start crossing each other's paths, and you are staring at eighty interlocking coils looking for the single loose thread. Pull that, and the whole board unravels in a satisfying cascade.
What it plays like
Unhurried. There is no move counter shouting at you and no energy meter locking you out for the evening. You get hearts, a timer if you want to push for stars, and an undo when you need it. Levels take a couple of minutes each — it is a game for a bus ride or the ten minutes before sleep.
Difficulty climbs steadily, from boards you clear on instinct to ones you will put down and come back to. Every fifth level from six is cut into a shape rather than a rectangle — a heart, a ring, a diamond — which changes how the whole board reads before you touch it.
Fair by design
Nockways is free, and it stays out of your way. There are no banner ads, no ads on launch, and none between levels. The only advertising in the game is a rewarded video you choose to watch — for a hint, or to carry on after running out of lives — and the game is completely finishable without ever watching one.
Nothing is uploaded anywhere. There is no account to make and no data to hand over: your progress is a file on your own phone, and it disappears when you uninstall.
