Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you play
Nockways: Arrow Puzzle (the “Game”), an Android
game published by P26 Games under the package name
com.p26games.nockways.
The short version
- The Game has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own.
- Your progress is saved in a file on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
- We do not collect, store or sell any personal information about you.
- The Game shows rewarded video ads only, and only when you press a button asking for one. Our advertising partner collects information in the course of serving those ads, as described below.
Information stored on your device
The Game keeps a single save file in its own private storage area. That file holds:
- which levels you have unlocked and completed;
- your stars, scores and current level;
- whether sound is muted;
- whether you have finished the tutorial;
- a per-day count of levels played, used for in-game pacing.
None of this identifies you, none of it leaves your device, and none of it is visible to us. It is stored in the Game’s private app storage, is not included in Android cloud backup, and is deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear its data from Android Settings.
Information we collect
None. We operate no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We do not know who you are, we cannot see your progress, and we have no way to contact you unless you email us yourself.
Advertising
The Game is free and is supported by optional advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob, a Google service.
When ads appear
Only rewarded video ads are used, and only where you have chosen to watch one — currently to reveal a hint or to continue after running out of lives. There are no banner ads, no interstitials, no ads on launch and no ads between levels. Nothing plays an ad that you did not ask for.
What the advertising partner processes
To select and measure an ad, Google may process information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, general device and operating-system details, approximate location derived from your IP address, and your interaction with the ad. This processing is carried out by Google as an independent party, under its own policies:
We do not receive this information. We see only aggregate, anonymous reporting such as how many ads were shown.
Your advertising choices
- You can simply not watch ads. Every ad in the Game is optional and the Game is fully playable without watching any.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it stops personalised advertising on your device.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google’s consent management platform. You can change that choice at any time from the Game’s settings screen.
App permissions
Most of the permissions listed in the app’s manifest are declared automatically by Google Play Services and the Google Mobile Ads SDK, not by the Game’s own code. They are listed here in full so nothing in the manifest is unexplained:
- INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to request an ad you have chosen to watch and to check whether a connection exists. The Game sends nothing else over the network, and plays fully offline without them.
- AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS — the Android advertising identifier and the Privacy Sandbox APIs, used by Google to select and measure ads. This is the processing described under Advertising above; you can reset or delete the identifier in Android Settings.
- WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, BIND_JOB_SERVICE, READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE, DUMP — required by the bundled Google libraries for their own scheduling and diagnostics. The Game’s code never calls them, and we do not read your phone number, call state or device logs.
The Game requests no access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or precise location.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from them. We collect nothing ourselves, so in the ordinary course there is nothing for us to hold or delete.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about advertising shown to your child, get in touch and we will help where we can.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Since we hold no personal data about you, the practical steps are:
- To erase everything the Game has stored: uninstall it, or clear its data in Android Settings.
- For data held by Google in connection with advertising: exercise your rights directly with Google, via the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
You are welcome to contact us with any question about this policy.
Security
The Game transmits no personal data of its own, so there is nothing in transit for us to protect. Your save file is held in the Game’s private storage, which Android isolates from other apps.
Changes to this policy
If the Game changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if a new ad format or service is added — this page will be updated and the “last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes for the version that introduces them.
